eric is definately swedens most interesting and skillful producer when it comes to underground deep house and soulful techno. eric ericksson released his first single in 96 with several releases since then on respected labels, both indie and major. at age 18, he released a single on derrick mays label fragile, alongside artists such as carl craig and laurent garnier. later the same year he, as part of the duo minimalisterna, released a full-length album on virgin records. in 2011 the ep someone is watching was released on carl craigs planet e communications. as co-founder of kass recordings he released the work of some of the top artists on the swedish scene, such as zoo brazil and style of eye. in 2009 he formed north beach together with daniel howe and since then they had three releases on kant recordings and played in well-respected venues in europe. his latest 12 inch vinyl love cannot was released this summer on freerange recordings.

animal 004 introduces the alchemyst project by the two argentinian techno artist julixo and frederik who show us two creations of metallic dub techno and raw beat structures. on the b side code is law mastermind moerbeck puts some spooky atmosphere to the title track and monomood turns lucy into a chord driven funk monster.

after a few highly praised moments this year (a 23 track magnum opus album, entitled >ascensus< on gerds seminal label 4lux, as well as a best selling ep on chicagos high rising record label stripped & chewed, amongst others), kaspar debuts on tomorrow is now, kid! with an incredible four tracker called >spice of light<. his leanings towards the esoteric and spiritual are evident throughout, and contrasted with sexual tips and pure physical pleasure through his rough beat work. the whole set is aimed at the creation of a unique, personal sound that searches the deepest recesses of the authors creativity while still true to the sound track of the dance floor. a four tracker to file under some of the most unique moments in recent releases.

atomium focuses on collaborations between artists. this second release from the belgian label brings out a collaboration between two berlin-based producers releasing two astonishing house tracks. pm is composed by martin teysera (herencia, cynosure, 31377 records) and philippe liedekerke aka pipo vitch (atomium, hatchwork, toys for boys). >restless<, the a-side of the ep, brings some jacking flavors and twisted spacy stabs on the dance floor. the analog synths trace the line and you just need to start the dance : a classic club track for the end of 2013. >back home<, the b-side, is led by a monster bassline that keeps the groove locked while the guitars delightly bring your brain either back on earth or on another journey. this full analog ep is definitely something to watch out. bring it on and make some noises ! tip

ricardo villalobos couldnt resist the siren like call of mari kvien brunvoll. the result, *everywhere you go* - celestial voice resurrection mix and amnesia rehabilitation dub - should give some proper information about some of the feelings involved here, such as does the music itself ... being nothing less than magic.
